Welcome to Ngoma Bush Lodge. By making a reservation or staying at our lodge, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the guest) and Ngoma Bush Lodge (the lodge).
2.1 Booking Confirmation: All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Ngoma Bush Lodge. A booking is confirmed only when you receive written confirmation from us via email.
2.2 Deposit Requirements: A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to arrival.
2.3 Payment Methods: We accept payments via bank transfer (EFT), credit card, or other methods as agreed upon at the time of booking.
2.4 Pricing and VAT: All rates quoted are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT (Value Added Tax) at the prevailing rate of 15%, unless otherwise stated. A valid tax invoice will be provided upon request for all payments made.
2.5 Special Requests: While we will do our best to accommodate special requests (dietary requirements, room preferences, etc.), we cannot guarantee their fulfillment.
3.1 Check-in Time: Check-in is from 14:00 onwards. Early check-in may be available upon request and subject to availability.
3.2 Check-out Time: Check-out is by 10:00. Late check-out may be available upon request and may incur additional charges.
3.3 Identification: Guests must present valid photo identification upon check-in.
4.1 Property Care: Guests are responsible for any damage to the property or its contents caused during their stay. Repair or replacement costs will be charged to the guest.
4.2 Behavior: Guests are expected to behave in a respectful manner towards staff, other guests, and the property. We reserve the right to refuse service or ask guests to leave if behavior is deemed inappropriate.
4.3 Wildlife Safety: Ngoma Bush Lodge is located in a wildlife area. Guests must follow all safety instructions provided by staff. The lodge is not responsible for injuries resulting from non-compliance with safety guidelines.
4.4 Smoking Policy: Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas. Smoking in rooms or non-designated areas will result in additional cleaning charges.
5.1 Included Meals: Our standard accommodation rate includes dinner, bed, and breakfast. Lunch is available upon request for an additional charge.
5.2 Dietary Requirements: Please inform us of any dietary restrictions or allergies at the time of booking. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.
5.3 Meal Times: Breakfast is served from 07:00-10:00, and dinner is served from 19:00-21:00. Please inform staff if you require different meal times.
6.1 Internet Access: Wi-Fi is available in common areas. Due to our remote location, internet speeds may vary and are not guaranteed.
6.2 Swimming Pool: Use of the swimming pool is at your own risk. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
7.1 Personal Belongings: The lodge is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings. Guests are advised to secure valuables and consider travel insurance.
7.2 Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend that all guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses, and personal liability.
7.3 Medical Emergencies: While we have basic first aid facilities, guests requiring medical attention may need to be transported to the nearest medical facility at their own expense.
7.4 Wildlife Encounters: As we are situated in a wildlife area, the lodge cannot be held liable for encounters with wild animals on the property or during activities, provided safety guidelines have been followed.
Ngoma Bush Lodge shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure is as a result of Acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, revolution, insurrection, or any other events beyond our reasonable control.
In such circumstances, we will work with guests to reschedule or provide alternative arrangements where possible.

You have the right to receive fair value, good quality services, and not to be subjected to misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive conduct.
You have the right to receive information about our services in plain and understandable language, including pricing, terms and conditions, and any material facts that may influence your decision.

We will not send you unsolicited marketing communications without your consent, and you may opt out of marketing at any time.

Electronic Transactions: In accordance with the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA), bookings made via our website or email are legally binding electronic transactions.

Ngoma Bush Lodge reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website, and it is the guest's responsibility to review them periodically.
Bookings made prior to any changes will be governed by the terms in effect at the time of booking.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including but not limited to:
Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts, specifically the courts of Limpopo Province or the High Court of South Africa.
Consumer Protection: Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to, or must be understood to, unlawfully restrict, limit or avoid any right or obligation created for either you or us in terms of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
Dispute Resolution: Before instituting legal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute through good faith negotiations. If negotiations fail, either party may refer the dispute to mediation or the relevant consumer tribunal.
